Today Gabe Newell, head at Valve, confirmed a demo Valve’s upcoming zombie shooter, Left 4 Dead, for the PC and XBOX 360. The demo will include both online co-operative play, and a single player mode. The demo will take place in the hospital level that was shown off to the press earlier this year.
“We will be releasing demos for both the Xbox and for the PC. I don’t know what the date is for release on that, though. I think it’s going to contain the first part of one of the campaigns. I think it’ll probably be Hospital but I’m not sure. That’s a decision that Doug Lombardi is making,” said Newell to VideoGamer.
Newell said no word on the specific release date of the demo, but Left 4 Dead has been confirmed for release on November 21. That said, we should expect the demo coming out anywhere from mid October to early November.
