Today, Electronic Arts announced the release date for it’s upcoming, award winning game, Mirror’s Edge. The action-adventure game is scheduled to ship on November 11 for PS3 and XBOX 360, with the PC version coming later in the winter.

“Mirror’s Edge is bringing something new to the action-adventure genre this holiday by putting the player in the shoes of the hero, seeing what she sees, feeling what she feels,” said Owen O’Brien, senior producer at DICE.

“We wanted to create an entirely new experience, with a different type of heroine and a world that not only looks fresh and new but has unique gameplay.”

Mirror’s Edge was awarded best XBOX 360 game at this year’s Leipzig convention, and best original game at this year’s E3.
