Amazon.com has listed the new PS3 Keypad for $49.99. Amazon has the keypad listed to ship by November 30. Amazon has claimed that the product is currently a placeholder, but that the price for the keypad comes directly from Sony.
“Pricing details come from our vendors. So that is the price that Sony gave us,” said an Amazon Rep.
In a poll on PS3Fanboy, only 46% said they would purchase the keypad if it was more than $20. Only 4% claimed they would buy it at the current price.
